Body Confidence in the studio and on stage
When your body is the instrument, thoughts about it can crowd out the creativity and focus your art needs. This course helps you strengthen your mindset around body image in a way that supports a lasting career.
Created and taught by Rachel Fine, MS, RD, CSSD, CEDS-C, a board-certified sports dietitian, certified eating-disorder specialist, and former professional dancer.

The problem isn't your body
Confidence in dance isn't only about technique. It's built on steady fueling, steady energy, and a grounded relationship with food and body. When the mirror runs the show, that steadiness is the first thing to go.
You measure yourself against everyone else in class.
The mirror decides how your whole day will go.
You believe confidence is waiting on the other side of a different body.
You want your energy back for dancing, not for monitoring your body.
This course helps you trade body monitoring for body respect, so more of your energy goes back into your dancing.
One stage of a bigger journey
The Healthy Dancer® is a six-stage framework. Each Nourish course dives deeper into part of it. Here's where this one lives, tap any stage to see what it covers.
Six modules, one clear throughline
Each module builds on the last. Together they give you a complete, dancer-specific approach you can use for good.
Redefine Ideals
Question the "ideal" body dance sold you, on the facts.
Transform Your Narrative
Rewrite the self-talk running in the studio mirror.
Build Body Image Resilience
Handle comparison and casting without spiraling.
Embrace Food and Body Changes
Meet a changing body with steadiness, not panic.
Shift The Perspective
See your body as your instrument, not your obstacle.
Maintain Confidence
Keep it, on hard days and across a whole career.
A taste of the reframe
Every dancer knows these thoughts. Tap a card to flip the studio-mirror belief into a grounded reframe. This is body neutrality in practice.
Plus the details that actually come up
Beyond the core modules, the course answers the real questions dancers ask.

Hi, I'm Rachel
I'm a former professional dancer turned Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and I've spent my career helping dancers heal from dancer diet culture, those confusing messages about which foods are "good" and which are "bad" for performance.
I created The Healthy Dancer® to give dancers a way to fuel for performance that builds a supportive relationship with food and body at the same time. Thousands of dancers now work through my 6-step approach. These Nourish courses are how you go deeper into it, one focus at a time.

No. This is about body neutrality and body respect, which are far more workable than forced positivity. You'll learn to reduce body monitoring and self-criticism so your body takes up less mental space, on the facts, not affirmations alone.
It goes deep on Stage 3, The Road to Body Confidence. If the framework is new to you, the membership is the place to start.
Not required, it stands on its own. But confidence work lands best once diet culture has been dismantled and food feels calmer. If you haven't done that groundwork, begin with the membership.
Yes, gently. Confidence is built on steady fueling, so the course includes nutrition support without turning it into another thing to obsess over.
It's self-paced and online, delivered by a certified eating-disorder specialist (CEDS-C). It is not a substitute for individual clinical treatment; if you're in active care, use it alongside your team. (Confirm access terms in the checkout below.)
