How we use your information
- To deliver what you signed up for or bought.
- To send the emails you asked for, such as your quiz results series, challenge emails, and newsletters.
- To process payments, prevent fraud, and keep records the law requires.
- To personalize your experience, like suggesting where to start in The Healthy Dancer® framework.
- To answer your questions and provide coaching support.
- To run the TTP Ambassador Program.
- To improve the site and protect our users and business.
Quiz answers
The Food Relationship Quiz asks about your thoughts and habits around food, so we treat your answers as sensitive. We use them only to show your results and send emails matched to your result. We never sell them or use them for outside advertising, and we share them only with the email service that sends your results.
You can ask us to delete your quiz answers at any time. The quiz is an educational tool, not a diagnosis.
Stopping emails
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, or you can email us. We may still send account or purchase emails, like receipts and password resets.
Children and teens
Many dancers we serve are young, so a parent or guardian is always involved for anyone under 18.
- Under 13: children under 13 may use our Services only through a parent or guardian. The parent signs up, makes any purchase, provides the child's information, and gives consent before we collect anything about the child. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child under 13 without a parent's consent. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
- Ages 13 to 17: teens may use our Services only with a parent or guardian's permission and involvement.
- Public credit: anything we publish about a dancer under 18, such as an ambassador bio or a recipe credit, requires a parent or guardian's consent. Recipe credits for minors use first name and last initial only, with no social media handle, and we never publish a minor's school name or contact details.
- Parents' rights: a parent or guardian can review their child's information, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop collecting it at any time by emailing info@pointenutrition.com.
Ambassadors and shared content
Your ambassador bio. If you are accepted, we may feature your photo and bio on our Ambassador Program page. We publish only what you send us and approve, which may include details you choose to share, such as your studio, school, or workplace. We never publish your contact details. For ambassadors under 18, we publish a bio only with a parent or guardian's consent, and we leave out school names.
Recipes and featured content. If you submit a recipe or other content for us to feature, we credit you only the way you chose on your sign-up form: first name and last initial, optionally with your social media handle, or no name at all.
You can ask us to update or remove your bio, credit, or content at any time.
Keeping and protecting your information
- Email list: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- Account and course data: kept while your account is active and for a reasonable time afterward in case you return.
- Purchase records: kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Applications: kept for the current program year plus one year, unless you are accepted.
We use secure (HTTPS) connections, password-protected member areas, and Stripe for payments, and we limit access to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you, and give you a copy.
- Correct it.
- Delete it.
- Stop sending you marketing emails or using advertising cookies.
Email info@pointenutrition.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will respond within 45 days. We will never treat you differently for asking. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our response. Residents of some U.S. states and visitors from the EU or UK may have extra rights under local law, and we honor them as required.
